ABOUT LACOSTE WATCHES

For over 75 years, the relaxed elegance of the Lacoste brand has been a hit with active men and women around the world. Founded in 1933 by René Lacoste and knitwear manufacturer André Gillier, the company originally manufactured sports shirts embroidered with the now iconic crocodile logo, as worn by world champion René himself on the tennis courts.

Aside from its famous tennis shirts and general clothing attire, the company is now an international manufacturer of footwear, fragrances and accessories. Its range of watches was introduced in 2008 and reinforced the sporty yet sophisticated Lacoste style, with the 2009 Autumn/Winter watch range branded as ‘Sport Elegance'.
